Satire Website Accessibility Features
1. The Satire website has custom Meta Titles on every single page of the website, and on blog articles. These meta tags tell people with disabilities what the page is about.
2. The Satire website has custom Meta Descriptions on every single page of the website. This text tells people with disabilities what the pages are about.
3. The Satire website has on page H-1’s and custom text, that also tell people with disabilities what each page is about.
4. The Satire website has custom written Alt text for necessary graphics and images on the website. Alt text tells people with disabilities what each graphic or image is, and what it’s purpose is.
5. Satire Brewing Company has installed and configured custom ADA plugins that assist screen readers to crawl the Satire website, without using the visual navigation. People can use their keyboard alone (up down arrows, enter key, etc.) to navigate the website. There are multiple other ADA features such as ADA mobile website navigation, etc.
6. The Satire website meets WACAG 2.1 AA standards for clear color contrast.
7. The Satire website also meets WCAG 2.1 AA standards for colorblind contrast.
8. Satire Brewing Companies ADA team meets with third party vendors to ensure their their website plugins meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. (Satire is not responsible for third party code, plugins, etc.)
9. Satire Brewing Company routinely revisits/enhances ADA issues such as Alt text, when changes are made to the website. Satire also consistently updates the website WordPress code, PHP code, theme code, website plugins, security keys, and more. Regular code updates make the website easier for people with disabilities to use.
10. All PDF’s on the Satire website have been coded for ADA. Including titles, alt text, language, page order, and more
