Summer is just around the corner and we’re celebrating with tasty new brews plus special events perfect for this exciting time of year. First, we’ll tell you about new Satire brews on-tap, next read about the events we’re participating in this month, including one in support of a very important cause, plus The Boozy Buckaroos.
New Brew at Satire
Teqcolowabo – ABV 7.2%
Get it while you can – tequila barrel-aged beer. We took our Colowabo brew: a salted lime beer, the taste of the great Colorado outdoors, and the alluring beach of Cabo San Lucas, and aged it in a tequila barrel. Margarita-like magic, exhilarating!
Butterbeer – 5.7% ABV
A magical creation of a creamy smooth butterscotch beer. See our hilarious Satire video (link above). Crafted with wizardry and the help of the Elder Wand. Afraid to try it? Maybe this will help. “And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.” – Albus Dumbledore
Harry Porter – 5.9% ABV
Don’t let the muggles get you down. Drink this supernatural sorcery of an ale instead. A not-made-to-style porter that made for a nice play on words. Harry Amber just didn’t sound right. A dirty water color with sleek caramel taste and toffee finish. “Yer a wizard Harry”.
By Raisin of Insanity Barrel-Aged Beer – 12.7% ABV
Our Raisin of Insanity Belgian ale is aged in a 30-year-old Remy Martin Cognac barrel in which Mystic Mountain ages their top-shelf Bourbon. Palate stimulating insanity with the complexity of raisins, cognac, bourbon, and oak.
Thornton summer beer events 2022
Jace Ward – #Tough2Gether
May is brain cancer awareness month and on May 7 we hosted a fundraiser for a very important organization: Jace Ward – #Tough2Gether. #Tough2Gether was founded by 22-year-old Jace Ward during his battle with DIPG. Today, the organization provides a research and access fund to help others receive access to drugs and trials. Additionally, it funds research in childhood cancer and especially DIPG. In collaboration with many others, Jace put into motion a DIPG Navigation Continuum. He died on July 3, 2021, but his mission to help the next child continues. Northglenn Food Truck Carnival
Coming up is the Northglenn Food Truck Carnival and Satire is excited to participate. Join us at the beautiful E.B. Rains Park and Civic Center Campus near the new Northglenn Recreation Center. Enjoy music, 20+ food trucks each day, plus fun amusement rides. The event is free to attend, but carnival passes are $35 or $3 to $6 per ride. We can’t wait to see you there!
Boozy Buckaroos at Satire
