Satire Brewing and American Heroes in Action
It’s that time of year again. Time to celebrate the good ol’ US of A.
In honor of America’s birthday, and the heroes that serve it, we hosted an appreciation event in partnership with American Heroes in Action! Read all about it.
American Heroes in Action
American Heros in Action helps combat-wounded veterans, injured firefighters, and members of law enforcement who have been wounded in the line of duty. Their mission is to provide therapeutic outdoor adventures like hunting trips, fishing trips, and more. Since 2015, American Heroes in Action has provided 113 participants with 35 adventures in 7 different states.
Festivities took place on Sunday, June 27, where we ate, drank, and some very special entertainment (watch the video). We also learned more about this great cause. The goal was to spread awareness and enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
And, of course, it wouldn’t have been a Satire event without a fresh new brew unleash in honor of our American heroes.
New Summer Satire Unleashes
American Heroes Honey Ale – 4.56%
Light and easy drinking with delicious honey taste. Dedicated to American Heroes in Action, a non-profit that helps injured military and first responders with outdoor therapy. Check out their website. One of the five non-profits we support.
Barrel-Aged Oh Honey Oh Honey – 10.2%
A new variation of Oh Honey, Oh Honey, this barrel-aged double honey IPA is complex with flavors of orange, vanilla, honey, oak, and whiskey. It will have you crying out “Oh honey, OH HONEY!” by the end of the glass.
Summer Hummer – Citrus Sour – ABV 5.5%
A stimulating citrus sour beer with a little lemon, a little lime, and a little corn. Sit back, relax and enjoy. It’s hard to beat a summer hummer!
NEW Limited Time Only Rocky Loaded Squirrels Released on Father’s Day
Get’em while they’re hot (and here). These limited-time-only Rocky Loaded Squirrels are served Philadelphia style (aka rocky not Bullwinkle rocky) with steak, bell peppers, onions, and cheese wrapped in our daily fresh-made bread. Uh, uh, Adrienne!
