At Satire, we love great beer, delicious food, and charitable giving in Colorado. That’s why we give 10% of your total bill to a local cause. We call it our GodWorks Ministry. Some say we’re crazy for doing this as a startup, and maybe we are, but we believe in our community and are happy to do what we can.

More about Satire charitable giving in Colorado.

American Heros in Action

American Heros in Action helps combat-wounded veterans, injured firefighters, and injured members of law enforcement who have been wounded in the line of duty. Their mission is to provide therapeutic outdoor adventures like hunting trips, fishing trips, and more. Since 2015, American Heroes in Action has provided 113 participants with 35 adventures in 7 different states.

Food for Hope

Food for Hope strives to empower and strengthen the future of our communities by supplying nutritious food to children in need. Each student enrolled in the program receives nutritional assistance throughout the school year. One in eight kids doesn’t know where their next meal will come from. Food for Hope wants to change that.

Project Angel Heart

Project Angel Heart provides medically tailored meals to people with life-threatening illnesses. The organization was founded in 1991 to address a major challenge for Coloradans who are ill: getting the nutrition they need to get stronger, heal, and remain at home. Many are too sick to shop at the grocery store or cook for themselves. Others find they must choose whether to buy food or medication to make ends meet. That’s why Project Angel Heart prepares and delivers medically tailored meals to people living with life-threatening illnesses each week.

Colorado Cancer Foundation

The Colorado Cancer Foundation helps Colorado-based cancer patients and their families by offering financial assistance to those in need. They also facilitate oncology research at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus by providing funds and equipment to researchers and clinicians. Don’t miss their Close to Home Run/Walk, September 12 – 27. Thanks to generous donations, Colorado Cancer Foundation is going virtual with its second socially-distanced run, continuing the foundation’s 41+ year tradition of supporting Colorado patients, families, physicians, researchers, and medical students via charitable athleticism.

Flatirons Community Church

Flatirons Community Church is always doing great work in the community through their volunteer-driven programs. Most recently, they’ve set aside funds to help those in need due to Coronavirus-related circumstances. From getting groceries to paying the bills, Flatirons Community Church will meet you where you’re at.

We’re so proud to support these charities, and we hope you are too. Visit us this summer for outstanding brews – our selection changes regularly so there’s always something new to try – plus excellent food and great company. Check out our sample beer menu and get a feel for what we offer.
